1. What can Vanguard Pharma offer our company?
Vanguard Pharma is engaged in the business of providing flexible and
cost effective salesforce solutions to the U.S. and Canadian pharmaceutical
industry. We can internally recruit, train, manage and administer
national salesforces to supplement your company's own salesforce efforts.
We are also able to offer "representative placements" to ensure that
territories are not left vacant due to maternity leaves, illness leaves
or any other applicable situations.
2. I'm concerned that the quality of a contract representative
won't be as high as my own sales people.
At Vanguard Pharma, we've taken every step possible to ensure that
our representatives are of the highest caliber possible and the quality
is no different from what you would expect from your own representatives.
Some of our quality assurances are as follows:
· A rigorous multi-tiered interview and recruitment
process
· Representatives must pass product knowledge/selling
skills examinations to the same standard
as your own representatives
· We request "on-the-job" training with members
of your own field force
· A committed salesforce management and administrative
support system is in place.
· Our guarantee: if for any reason you are not
satisfied with the performance of a given
Vanguard Pharma representative within 30
days you may have that representative replaced
at no expense to you.
3. How is contract sales cost effective?
Think "half-price". Vanguard Pharma rates for a dedicated program
are approximately half of what doing the same internally would cost.
Why? There is no permanent hiring obligation with Vanguard Pharma
and much of the sales-related overhead, administrative costs, and
representative expenses are controlled more directly by us.
4. What is the sales and marketing expertise behind Vanguard Pharma
Management?
Our management team has extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales
and marketing, having worked in some capacity with most of the major
pharmaceutical firms, in every major therapeutic category, and in
a wide variety of product situations (Rx, OTC, launches of new and
mature products etc).
5. May we hire your representatives and effectively convert them
to become employees of our own company?
By using Vanguard Pharma, our clients gain a tremendous opportunity
to assess our representative individually or en masse for future hiring
needs. Who better to hire in your own organization than someone who
is already experienced in selling your company's products? Vanguard
Pharma provides such a "feeder system" to you…at a fraction of the
cost of recruiting via placement agencies. One recent Vanguard client
"inherited" 50% of our contract representatives who were hired on
